Majed Nasr, Head of HR for Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, Asia Pacific, is an accomplished professional with nearly 20 years’ experience spanning strategy consulting and Human Resources, primarily in the healthcare and public sector industries.
Majed joined J&J in 2020 as the Head of OneHR for Africa, Middle East & Turkey. In March 2021, he assumed additional scope as Head of HR, EMEA Emerging Markets Innovative Medicine (Africa, Middle East, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, and CIS). Majed was instrumental in shaping, leading, and executing the talent strategy for the region, focusing extensively on developing the region’s talent, designing fit for future organizations, and championing a world-class culture and DEI agenda. In addition, Majed played a significant role in managing the region’s multiple socio-economic and geopolitical challenges through his work with the CMT and other key stakeholders.
Prior to joining J&J, Majed gained extensive experience spanning strategy consulting and HR across four continents. He held roles of increasing responsibility at IBM Global Business Services as a Management & Strategy Consultant, and at Eli Lilly where he served as Head of their HR organization for Northern Europe (UK, Ireland, Nordics, BeNeLux) for one of Lilly’s core sectors.
Majed earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University (USA) and an MBA from INSEAD (France). Outside of work he loves to travel, is an avid sports fan, and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
