Bruno Costa Gabriel

Global Commercial Strategy Leader

Bruno Costa Gabriel is the Global Commercial Strategy Leader (GCSL) of the Cardiovascular & Metabolism Therapeutic Area (CVMTA) and World Without Disease Accelerator (WWDA). Bruno also serves as a member of the Janssen Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO) Leadership Team. In his role as GCSO leader, Bruno is responsible for strengthening the organization’s focus on creating solutions that eliminate disease through early detection, prevention, interception and cure.

Bruno brings a combination of deep commercial experience, external focus and dynamic leadership to this role. Most recently Bruno has served as Managing Director of Janssen Brazil and has been Vice President of two important industry associations in Brazil: Interfarma and Sindusfarma. During Bruno’s tenure as Managing Director, Brazil became the first country to launch four new indications across the core portfolio. Bruno has also served as Managing Director at DePuy Synthes Spain, Janssen Italy, Janssen Puerto Rico and Janssen Portugal.

Bruno received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa in Portugal, and an MBA in International Business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona.
