Christian Rodseth is Managing Director of North Asia, responsible for the J&J Innovative Medicine organization in South Korea and leading the cluster that includes Hong Kong and Taiwan. He is a member of the Asia Pacific Leadership Team (APLT).
Christian is well-known for his purpose-driven leadership philosophy, collaborative leadership style, and focus on people development. He has a proven track record of building high-performing teams that deliver impactful results for patients. His expertise in market access and policy shaping has contributed to his success in driving consistent business growth.
Previously, Christian served as Managing Director for Greece, Poland, and Romania (GPR), achieving significant growth; and actively advocated for improved access to innovation as the Vice President of the local industry association, Pharma Innovation Forum, in Greece.
Christian started his career as a sales representative in South Africa in 2006 and then took on roles of increasing responsibility. Christian served as the Managing Director of J&J Romania; and played a key role as President of the National Innovative Pharmaceutical Association in Romania. In 2020, he took on the role of Global Commercial Strategy Lead for the Hepatitis Disease Areas Stronghold and HIV Therapeutics in the Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO) based in New Jersey.
Christian holds a degree in Occupational Therapy and a degree in International Business Administration with distinction from the University of the Witwatersrand and Warwick Business Schools.
Christian is based in Seoul.
