Patrik Ringblom is the Global Commercial Strategy Leader for Oncology and is responsible for setting and executing the Oncology strategy, building disease area strongholds, and business development. Patrik has direct responsibility for a fully integrated team, including dedicated resources in strategic marketing, strategic analytics, market access, medical affairs, and business development. During Patrik’s time in Oncology, Janssen has become the fourth-largest oncology company with a best-in-class portfolio for the future of patients with prostate, lung, bladder, and hematology cancers.
Prior to his current role, Patrik was the Managing Director for the mid-size markets in Janssen Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and served as a member of the European Leadership Team. Patrik consistently delivered on his responsibilities for a complex region with different healthcare systems, market dynamics, distribution systems and cultures. The more than 30 countries he had responsibility for included Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Greece, Israel, Poland, Romania, Austria and Switzerland. He also played an important role in the design and implementation of a program that transformed the EMEA organization to meet evolving market demands.
Patrik holds a master’s in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business administration, with a major in economics, from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden.
