IBD Africa
Inflammatory Bowel Disease Africa or IBD Africa is a South African non-profit company, launched in 2019 with the aim of improving inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) care in sub–Saharan Africa through IBD RESEARCH, EDUCATION and ADVOCACY.
IBD Africa Patient Advocacy Summit. The future healthcare environment for IBD patients presents many challenges in the form of escalating private healthcare costs, NHI and limited access to the rapidly expanding treatment options for IBD. IBD patient advocacy is in its infancy in South Africa but this is changing rapidly with IBD Africa's programs to develop effective IBD patient advocates. The programs include their first Advocacy Summit in 2022, patient participation at the main SAGES Congress in 2023 and education around advocacy issues on social media platforms. The 2023 summit will again focus on patient advocacy and also the development of an Patient Advocacy Manual.

Axial Spondyloarthritis Association of South Africa (ASASA)
AxSpaSA was established in 2018 and became a registered NPO in December 2020. It is a patient driven organization with the vision to be the primary resource for people diagnosed and living with Axial Spondyloarthritis (AxSpA) & related diseases in South Africa. They aim to empower everyone with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) including ankylosing spondylitis (AS) to manage their treatment and to stay in control of their lives. They are driven to ensure that health care professionals in South Africa deliver tailored and timely care to every patient, every time.

Bloem Arthritis NPC
Bloem Athritirthritis NPC is a non-profit organization aiming to create awareness around arthritis, auto-immune diseases and the medication that is involved in treating these conditions.
