Johnson & Johnson has a strong commitment to patients and we take our corporate responsibility seriously. Patients have always been at the heart of everything we do. Our approach includes gaining clear insight of patient needs. Collaborating with patients and advocacy organizations is critical to capturing perspectives as we develop and deliver medicines and solutions to meet their needs. We work alongside with healthcare professionals in addition to patient organizations, to facilitate education, awareness, support and assistance to patients.
These relationships function in accordance with a number of important principles such as mutual respect, integrity, independence and transparency.
Principles for interactions with patient organizations
To ensure that our interactions with patient organizations are conducted in an ethical, compliant and transparent manner, we are guided by applicable local laws, the Johnson & Johnson Code of Business Conduct, relevant Janssen internal policies and applicable Innovative Medicines Canada (IMC) codes and guidelines.
