Get to know Janssen: patients always come first
We care about people: patients and their families, our employees and external partners. Fully committed to patients and their needs, we build trust with our external partners and with every patient entering our clinical trials or using our products and services.
Our Credo is not just a slogan − it’s a heartfelt belief that the Johnson & Johnson family has been living by for more than 70 years: ‘We believe our first responsibility is to the doctors, nurses and patients, to mothers and fathers and all others who use our products and services’.
“How we all respect and live by the Credo, day after day, is extremely important to me and defines Janssen’s values.”
Brian Woodfall, Medical Doctor and Head of Development and Global Medical Affairs Infectious diseases and Vaccines
Impact the lives of millions of patients
In 2015, the WHO added 3 life-saving medicines from Janssen to its list of ‘Essential Medicines’: darunavir for the treatment of HIV, bedaquiline for treating multidrug-resistant tuberculosis, and simprevir for hepatitis C. The total number of Janssen medicines on WHO’s list is now 8.
The physicians and scientists at Janssen are committed to building a strong pipeline of life-saving candidate medicines. While maintaining our high quality standards, we also strive for efficient approval of these transformational drugs − providing solutions to patients with unmet medical needs as fast as we can.
